Privacy on this site

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This notice covers eldmoor.online, the website of Chronicles of Eldmoor, and its closed-beta list. The game has its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, published on the realm when the closed beta opens.

Who is responsible

Responsible for this site and the beta list: João Rafael Gamito Nunes. Write to support@eldmoor.online about anything in this notice; we answer within one month.

What this site does not do

It sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising, no social buttons and no trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies: the fonts and pictures come from this site. If you pick a language, your browser remembers the choice in its own storage; it is never sent to us.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and the details of each request to deliver the pages and to protect the site from abuse, on our behalf and under our instructions. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Who receives your data

Today, only Cloudflare, which hosts this site, its sign-up function and the list (see Hosting). Before the closed beta opens, the list moves to the game's own server, run by a hosting provider that we will name here before the move (in the EU/EEA, or elsewhere only with the safeguards the GDPR requires), and the confirmation and invitation emails are sent through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA, sending from its EU region from mail.eldmoor.online, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Both will act on our behalf and under our instructions. We never sell the list or share it with anyone else.

Minimum age

You must be 13 or older to join the list. If we learn that someone under 13 has signed up, we delete the entry as soon as we know. A parent or guardian can ask us to delete it by writing to support@eldmoor.online.

The beta list

If you sign up for the closed beta we keep your email address, the language of the page, the time you signed up and the version of the consent you gave, stored with Cloudflare (Workers KV). We do not keep your IP address: a one-way coded form of it is kept for one hour, only to stop the form being flooded. Before the first invitations go out we email you once to confirm the address. An address stays on the list only until the closed beta opens, and never longer than 180 days from sign-up: after that it is deleted automatically. An address that is not confirmed is deleted 30 days after we ask, and an entry 30 days after its invitation. The list is used only to invite you to the beta; we never sell it or share it.

Why we may do this

Your consent, given with the tick box on the form (GDPR, article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time: use the link in any email we send, or write to support@eldmoor.online, and we delete your entry. The one-way coded form of your IP address that limits sign-ups to five an hour does not rest on consent but on our legitimate interest in keeping the form from being flooded (article 6(1)(f)); it is kept for one hour and tells us nothing about you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, to limit its use or to receive a copy, and you can withdraw your consent, by writing to support@eldmoor.online. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to a data protection authority; in Portugal that is the CNPD (cnpd.pt).

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version appears here with a new date. If a change affects the beta list, we tell the people on it by email before it applies.
